"Save the Date" for PTAB Bar Association Annual Conference - September 22-24, 2021 at the Ritz Carlton, Washington, DCDear fellow members and friends of the Association,
I hope this message finds you, your families, your colleagues, and your communities safe and well, notwithstanding the difficult year so many have faced. It seems hard to believe it has already been a full twelve months since we were forced to postpone our 2020 Annual Conference last March, and at the same time it seems hard to believe it has only been a year, given all that has taken place.
While the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has required us to adjust our timing once again, on behalf of the Board I am very pleased to report that we have rescheduled our 2021 Annual Conference for September 22-24, 2021 at the Ritz-Carlton in Washington, DC. We hope you can join us and look forward to seeing you in September in Washington, as we continue to monitor public health guidance and precautions. Please save the date and plan to join us for this unmatched event and opportunity to meet with fellow Association members, judges, and other thought leaders.
In the meantime -- thanks to the vigorous ongoing efforts of our members, committees and volunteer leaders -- the business of the Association has continued undiminished. Despite the last year's challenges, we have continued to provide unparalleled programming and networking opportunities, incisive analysis and publications, vital channels for formal and informal feedback on key PTAB developments, and opportunities to help build a broader, more diverse bar community. Along with transitioning to a virtual meeting format that allowed us to engage participants from around the world, we rolled out a new website, created a new committee, and continued to build and do the work of this vibrant Association. Next month we will move ahead, again, with our 2021 Annual Meeting, which ushers in the Association's new program year, along with a new season of committee and board leadership. Please watch your email for the formal notices, and keep your calendar clear for Monday, May 17, 2021 at 1pm eastern.
Knowing that this year was marked with extraordinary challenges for so many, we have been grateful for the chance to continue meeting and working together with you as an Association, and for your continued support. Thank you for all that you have done to make the Association what it is today, and I look forward to seeing you in person in Washington this September.
Best safe wishes,
President, PTAB Bar Association
