We will analyze case studies where the lack of diversity has led to the loss of opportunity (such as the cancelled NASA space walk), issues with products (such as voice recognition products that failed to recognize female voices or automatic soap dispensers that could not work with darker skin tones), or even complete product failures (failure of air bags to be tested for women or children).
