Kenneth Weatherwax has been a member of the PTAB Bar Association since 2016. “I especially appreciate the PTAB Bar Association for its matchless opportunities to meet great practitioners and keep up with litigation trends,” says Ken, who, in addition to being active in committees, has run the appellate desk of the PTAB Bar Association’s PTAB Roundup service since its creation.
Ken has traveled widely (“at least before becoming a lawyer") in America, Africa, and Polynesia. Among his other leisure activities are hiking, finding new restaurants, debating the merits of films, and trying to reconcile contrasting court decisions. He is also a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien.
Before graduating from the University of California, Davis Law School in 2001, with the Order of the Coif, Ken obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and spent six years working in electrical transmission and distribution analysis and risk assessment. Upon obtaining his law degree, he worked for Irell & Manella LLP before co-founded Lowenstein & Weatherwax LLP in 2012.
