PTAB Bar Association Expresses Concerns Over Potential Harm to USPTO and PTAB - March 4, 2025

The PTAB Bar Association has sent letters to the Secretary of Commerce and Congress expressing serious concerns regarding the potential negative impacts on the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), particularly the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), due to the recent hiring freeze, the mandate to return to in-person work, and the potential termination of Administrative Patent Judges (APJs) currently in their probationary period.  Copies of the letters appear below.
